“Better Burger” Restaurant to Heat up Corner of Milwaukee Street and Franklin Road
BOISE, IDAHO (March 11, 2010) Smashburger, a fast-casual “better burger” restaurant, will open its second Boise location Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 8247 W. Franklin Road. Smashburgers first Boise location opened in August, 2009 and is located at 3223 E. Louise Drive.
Smashburger is introducing a one-quarter pound Smashburger that starts at $3.99. The quarter-pound Smashburger will be available at both Boise locations beginning March 31.
Smashburgers menu will feature an Idaho Smashburger, Sweet Potato Smashfries (sweet potato fries tossed with rosemary olive oil and garlic), Fried Pickles (fried dill pickles served with buttermilk ranch dressing) and a huckleberry Häagen-Dazs shake.
The Idaho Smashburger starts with a one-quarter, one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent Certified Angus Beef that is smashed, seared and seasoned on the grill, then topped with potato chips, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a potato bun.
Known for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers start at $3.99 with a one-fourth, one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent Certified Angus Beef freshnot frozensmashed on a flat grill to sear in superior juicy flavor. To further the better burger experience, Smashburgers are served on a toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of real cheeses, the freshest produce, and distinctive toppings including haystack onions, guacamole or even a fried egg.
Smashburger is known for its savory burgers, but the restaurant also serves up delicious Smashchicken sandwiches, Smashdogs, and Smashsalads, with sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlicseasoned Smashfries. Burger lovers can pair their meals with Häagen-Dazs shakes and root-beer floats.
