Smashburger has released its new specialty “Bronco Burger” in Boise – the only location in the country where burger lovers (and BSU Bronco fans) will be able to order it.
Smashburger has made a name for itself with its regionalized local burger fare and this burger is no exception, inspired by the BSU Broncos.
After researching and testing the most popular ingredient combinations in the Boise area, the Smashburger team developed the “Bronco Burger” — which hit menus Monday.
The “Bronco Burger” brings to life the hometown equity of Boise State University, promoters said. Drawing inspiration from the school’s colors, blue and orange, along with popular local burger toppings, the “Bronco Burger” features a 100% Angus Beef patty topped with Applewood smoked bacon, Franks® Buffalo Sauce, crumbled blue cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo served fresh on a delicious egg bun, according to a news release.
“In every Smashburger market, we explore what consumers enjoy eating and then bring those tastes and flavors to our burgers in an innovative way,” said Tom Ryan, Founder and Chief Concept Officer of Smashburger. “Our localized burgers are very important to Smashburger and we’re proud to deliver custom creations to our fans across the country.”
Smashburger currently has two locations in the Treasure Valley. The three-year-old company operates 100 stores nationwide.
