Company enlists Definite Productions of Denver for inaugural TV advertising spot

Denver, COJune 4, 2013Smashburger, the rapidly expanding better burger restaurant concept, today unveiled its first television advertising campaign in collaboration with Denver-based Definite Productions, marking the production company’s first spot for a national restaurant brand. While the nearly six year old Smashburger has always taken a bold approach to marketing, launching the new TV spot will allow Smashburger to extend its message to a broader consumer base and tell its story in a new, engaging way by visually capturing the brand’s personality and its passion for making premium burgers that are smashed fresh, served delicious every day.

Smashburger’s first television campaign includes a :30 second spot, created to showcase what differentiates Smashburger from other burger restaurants – its unique smashing technique that perfectly sears each burger to create a juicy  Smashburger full of flavor in every bite. The spot emphasizes the visual appeal and taste of the product through a storytelling approach that dramatizes Smashburger’s signature tagline – “Smashed Fresh. Served Delicious.” The burgers are depicted through a guest’s mouthwatering dream sequence. The Smashburger spot will air in seven markets across the United States this summer.

SMASHBURGER TO GIVE AWAY FREE BURGERS TO CELEBRATE ITS NORTH BRUNSWICK GRAND OPENING

HILLSIDE, NJ (April 10, 2013) – Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, operating 13 stores throughout Northern and Central New Jersey under Mascott Corporation, today announced the grand opening of its newest location, 975 Rt.1 South, North Brunswick (Barnes & Noble Center). The opening will take place on Monday, April 22 at 11:00am.

In advance of its official grand opening, Smashburger will give away FREE burgers from its pre-opening menu, on a first come first serve basis, on Saturday, April 20 from 11:30am to 1:30pm and 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  Attendees are encouraged to make a donation to North Brunswick High School’s Project Graduation Program during this time. To further reward its loyal customers, smash fans lined up before the official grand opening on Monday, April 22 will be entered into a drawing where 100 people selected at random will win one FREE Classic Smash™ per month, for 13 months.  Participants can begin lining up outside of the restaurant on Monday morning at 9:00am.  Winners will be selected at 10:45am before the doors officially open at 11:00am. Better Burger Chain Announces System-wide Sales of $165M for 2012, 44% growth over 2011

Denver, CO – February 19, 2013 – In the close of a successful year of growth, Smashburger, the rapidly expanding better burger restaurant concept, is pleased to share a summary of its 2012 business results and accolades.  The fast growing brand added a total of 58 new locations globally in 2012, comprised of 17 corporate locations and 41 new locations opened by its franchise partners, representing 36% total new unit growth over 2011, with a total count of 193 restaurants.

Smashburger has not only continued to build upon its success in the United States, but has expanded nationally making an international debut with restaurant openings in Calgary, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Costa Rica.
