Shreveport Sizzle, Inc. and “Better Burger” Restaurant Bring Burger Magic to Shreveport

Shreveport, La. — (February 17, 2010)—Smashburger, a fast-casual “better burger” restaurant, will sizzle into Shreveport in 2010. Smashburger has partnered with Shreveport Sizzle, Inc. to introduce Smashburger’s “burger magic”.

Shreveport Sizzle, Inc. will open five restaurants across Shreveport, Bossier City, and Northwest Louisiana over three years. Scott and Mary Quigley, Shreveport Sizzles, Inc. founders, have more than 20 years franchise restaurant experience.

Known for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers start with a one-third or half-pound of 100-percent Certified Angus Beef—fresh, not frozen—smashed, seared and seasoned on a grill. Served on butter-toasted artisan buns and topped with real cheeses, Smashburgers feature the freshest produce and top-quality condiments.

Smashburger is known for its savory burgers, but also serves up Smashchicken sandwiches, Smashdogs, and Smashsalads, with delicious sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlic-seasoned Smashfries. Burger lovers can also enjoy Häagen-Dazs shakes, root beer floats, beer, and wine.

“We are thrilled to bring Smashburger to our hometown,” says Shreveport Sizzle, Inc. owner Scott Quigley. “We fell in love with Smashburger’s and Louisianans will too.”

“Smashburger is excited to partner with experienced franchise owners,” says Smashburger President Scott Crane. “Shreveport will anticipate Smashburger’s arrival and ‘better burger’.”
