Smashburger Launches Curbit’s Order Throttling Software

Test & Rollout Overview

Smashburger piloted a new technology solution across 60 restaurants using a structured A/B test. Half of the locations implemented Curbit’s order pacing and guest communication system, while the remaining restaurants continued with standard operations. Key metrics—including speed of service, repeat visits, and customer feedback—were tracked across both groups.

Strong performance from the test group led to a full rollout across all 129 locations nationwide.
